Finnish Game Industry Report (FGIR)
FGIR (Finnish Game Industry Report) is biannual study about Finnish Game Industry conducted by Neogames Finland. 2024 report marks 20 years of tracking the growth and adaptation of Finland’s game industry, which now ranks among the top five in Europe by turnover and is a leader in mobile game development.

Neogames Finland:
- Neogames Finland is a membership based, non-profit association
- Its mission is to coordinate and support the growth and development of the Finnish game industry
- Its members cover all sectors of the industry from business to education and research
- Neogames is one of Finland’s nine Information Centres for the Arts
Key Highlights:
- Industry Size: The Finnish game industry comprises 270 studios, employing 4,300 people, with a total turnover of €2.85 billion.
- Study Scope: The 2024 report includes data from 71 studios (26% of the total) employing 3,160 people (86% of the industry’s workforce), with additional insights from public business registers.
- Profiles & Support: The report features profiles of 50 game companies (members of Suomen Pelinkehittäjät ry) and highlights local game industry hubs and support organizations.
- Visuals & Data: The site includes infographics summarizing the industry’s financial outlook, employee numbers, and studio development.
