The Finnish game industry has an active culture of sharing and networking. A wide variety of game industry related events are organized locally and most of them are free to attend for anyone interested in the field of gaming.

PG Connects

PG Connects is a premier international conference series focused on the global mobile and video games industry, connecting developers, publishers, investors, and marketers since 2014. With 57+ events held worldwide, these conferences focus on networking, industry trends, monetization, and indie developer support. PG Connects takes place in multiple locations including Helsinki.

GDC

Game Developers Conference (GDC) is the one of world's largest and most influential annual professional event for the video game industry. Starting in 2026, it is rebranded as the GDC Festival of Gaming. It is primarily a B2B (business-to-business) conference designed for professionals in the games industry to learn, network, and collaborate. GDC takes place in San Francisco USA.

Nordic Game Conference

The Nordic Game conference is a leading, professional video game industry conference and trade show held annually in in May in Malmö, Sweden, specializing in connecting Nordic game developers with the global industry. It features high-level speakers, an expo, networking events, and the Nordic game Award.

Gamescom

Gamescom is the world's largest event and trade fair for computer and video games, held annually in August at the Koelnmesse in Cologne, Germany. It serves as a major hub for the international games industry, combining a massive public festival for consumers with a significant B2B (business-to-business) event for professionals.

Tokyo Game Show

The Tokyo Game Show (TGS) is an annual, four-day, premier video game trade fair held every September in Chiba, Japan, at Makuhari Messe. It is a massive, international, and hybrid convention, serving as a platform for both Japanese and global developers to showcase new console, PC, and mobile games, alongside industry networking and cosplay.
